How you can help

Today more young men and women than ever before need help as they move from adolescence to adulthood. NCFC offers a range of programs and support to help them become productive members of our society.

In order to meet our goals, the North Central Family Centre depends on the public’s generosity and welcomes all donations. No contribution is too small to make a difference. The following are some ways you can contribute to helping young people, their families and the community they live in.

Donations of Goods
We are currently looking for baking supplies, craft supplies (markers, construction paper, crayons), sewing machines, and sports equipment such baseballs, bats, and pool cues.

Cash Donations

Corporate or Individual Partnerships / Sponsors

Donation Wish List:

Food for Baking classes: Flour, oatmeal, Puffed Wheat, white sugar, brown sugar, corn syrup, cocoa, salt, Rice Krispy’s, margarine, oil, marshmallows, raisins, coconut, chocolate chips, cinnamon & nutmeg, sweetened condensed milk, nachos with cheese. For Christmas – cookie cutters, gingerbread Houses, Gingerbread Kits, decorating things.

Craft items: felt, foam, construction paper, markers, jewellery making items, breads (small for cultural crafts), thread, needles for beading, glue, glitter, safety scissors for the younger kids, popsicle stickers, pipe cleaners, stencils, cardstock, crayons, foam cut outs


You can donate your time to help us with special events, fundraising initiatives,program volunteering, Committee and Board membership.

Why not dedicate some of your time and join an exciting team of volunteers!

As a volunteer, it will provide you with a chance to meet new friends, become involved in the community and know that you are contributing to NCFC and the multitude of young people and families this organization helps.

Become directly involved in a young person’s life and be a significant influence.

Volunteers have also assisted staff with an evening drop-in program. This will provide you with an opportunity to interact with youth. All of this will happen within a safe, activity-based social environment where you will learn, inspire and motivate.

Many opportunities exist for individuals interested in contributing in a different way. By joining the Board or Directors you will be involved in leading NCFC to achieve its mission. Your time and expertise will be devoted to taking on the challenges of setting agency direction in fundraising, public relations, advocacy, quality assurance and strategic planning. You will learn about the impact of poverty, and violence on Regina youth and families.

Despite life’s unpredictability, some things do endure, sometimes for a lifetime,. The friendship and generosity of our supporters are examples of that endurance. Their commitment to basic human values plays a significant role in shaping our Centre and the high quality programs we deliver.
